You can skip this section completly if you already have a Facebook page for your business.
The first step is to log in to your personal Facebook account. If you don't have one, you must create a personal account before creating a Facebook page.
Once you're logged in, navigate to your homepage by clicking on the home icon at the top of the page. (1) Now, you can click on the Pages link in the sidebar. (2)
Click on the "Create new Page" button located in the sidebar.
On this page you will be asked to enter a name for your Facebook Page. It is a required field, and try to choose a name that accurately reflects your business or brand. (1 or left image) You'll also need to select a category that best describes your Facebook Page. It is also required, and be careful to start typing in the field and select a category from the list. (2 or middle image) Lastly, writing a simple bio for your business and clicking on the "Create Page" button is optional. (3 or right image)
If the button is grayed-out like the first two images, you either not wrote a page name or did not select the category from the list.
The next step is to enter your contact information. The only required field here is your business's phone number. You can fill out the rest of the fields for better recognition. Click on next (2) when you are done.
Now it is time to add a profile picture and cover photo to your Page. (1) Choose images (or drag and drop in the area) that represent your brand or business and ensure they meet Facebook's image size and resolution guidelines. Then, click next. (2)
You can add WhatsApp contact to your Page to make it more accessible for the user to contact you. In this tutorial, we will skip this step by clicking the "Skip" button at the bottom of the sidebar.
It is possible to invite your contacts to follow your new page. We use a test account, so there are no contacts to invite. If you have interested friends, feel free to select them here and click the next button.
Select if you like to receive notifications or emails from Facebook. Then, Click on the "Done" button and congratulations! Your Facebook Page is now created.
The first step is to navigate to the login page and enter your credentials. (Username and Password)
Click on the "Connect" link from the sidebar once you are logged in, and click on the Add button associated with the Facebook Page channel.
In this step, you might see a different screen than Figure 2. The pop-up might ask you to enter your Facebook credentials. Or, you will see the following pop-up if you have already been signed in to your Facebook account. Click on the "Continue as ..." button to give appropriate privileges to Socialization.
The popup asks you to select the Facebook page you want to connect. You might see different options depending on how many Facebook pages you have set up in your account. You could choose to "opt in to all current and future Pages" if you think you might want to connect more pages to Socialization in future, or follow the highlighted sections to connect a particular page. (1) and (2) Then, click "Continue." (3)
The Socialization platform needs to have several permissions to work. There are permissions like access to write a post on your behalf or read the posts statistics. Select the "Save" button, as shown in Figure 4, and then click on "Got it" as indicated in Figure 5. This action will configure the necessary permissions for Socialization.
A new modal will show up that displays the pages that Socialization has access. You must select the Facebook Page (1) that you want to link. Then, click on the "Grant Permission" (2) button. Otherwise, you will see an error.
You are done. At this point, you see the Facebook Page's title (as displayed in the following figure) and a success message on the bottom right of the screen.
